Lynn Martin is a respected professor of functional anatomy and Ideokinesis in the Tisch School of the Arts and the Dance Education Program at New York University. She has also taught at the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies and The Westchester Conservatory of Music. As a Director of The Carl Stough Institute of Breathing Coordination, she collaborated on pedagogical and media projects for more than twenty years. She maintains a private practice in New York City, where she teaches the Principles of Breathing Coordination to performers and other professional people, as well as to people with chronic respiratory problems. Lynnʼs background also includes studies in psychology, dance and singing. She performs regularly with The St. Cecilia Chorus and Orchestra at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York City.
